At least once a month, we vote on a graphic novel or trade paperback to read. Then we get together to discuss. It's just like a book club, but with comics!
From time to time, we'll also have other comic-related events to attend - movies, conventions, and anything else you can think of that might appeal to fans of sequential art.
If you're on Facebook, you can join in the group discussion here:

I would like to provide a forum through which of serious and committed writers working in literary fiction can meet and possiby form writers groups. The particular literary focus, here, is, stories or novels in which the conflict emerges from and/or bears a thematic relationship to the character of the protagonist(s). My experience with writers groups is that there are many different kinds of readers and writers, and that one's development as a writer benefits from fellow writers who share a s …

Although gay men now live in the everchanging digital age, few things compare to reading books the way we were taught. How relaxing is it to step away from the computer and lose yourself in a good novel, play or article? Enough blogging, men. Let's read. Let's discuss. Let's explore.

The Boonton NJ Writers Group is an established critique group seeking to add a handful of new members. Our members attend regularly and therefore develop an intimate understanding of each others' work - be it a short story, memoir, novel, or script. Due to the format of this group where we review three writers often lengthy submissions every other we …

Writing Hemingway/Fitzgerald We are a group of serious minded writers focused on publishing our work; socializing takes place outside the meetup time. Members rarely miss a meetup.
